• Give kids one of each letter bead A through Z.

  Ask them to string the beads in alphabetical order from A to Z.

• Have kids sort the non-alphabet beads by shape. Ask them to count and identify each group of shapes: 12x flowers, 9x fish, 9x teddy bears, 8x hearts, 8x stars, 8x rectangles, 8x butterflies, 6x circles and 4x ovals.
• Have kids sort the non-alphabet beads by colour.

  Ask them to count and identify each group of colours: 13x pink, 12x green, 9x orange, 9x purple, 8x yellow, 9x rose, 7x turquoise, and 6x blue.
